Painted this from a picture. horizon looks uneven from the cropping. I like taking the picture of the painting outside on a cloudy day, the colors turn out alot better.

Started making my own linen board. This linen is some nice stuff. Ordered simples to see if I liked it, and I do. Get about 22- 8"x 10"pcs. per simple.

It seems like winter has finally come. I'll be painting from some pictures/slides I have found. So heres a still life i did today. painted some carrots last nite, just couldnt get them right. That doesn't mean everything else is right.

Returned to this painting and re worked it. posted it backwards by accident, but it helped me see it from a different point of view, so I'll leave it alone. Need to go buy a big mirror for my studio now. 20"x 16" oil on canvas

Little brother 1977

My father died January 28. Our family was looking at all these slides we had from the outer banks nc from 1977. There was so many great slides and they looked so good coming out of the projector. So therefor I am now on a new mission for the winter. Camera picture could have been better, I need to workout my camera skills. I will also be posting some of my dads artwork in about a week.
